Welcome

INTUITIVE DESIGN is a space devoted to inwardness.

Words such as intuition, introversion, intimacy, sensitivity, empathy and self-mastery find their home here.

Inwardness is a religion, a life style, a source of fulfillment and an incredibly rich dimension that our culture focused on the outside knows little about.

The practice of inward living starts with self-love. In most religions, the Golden Rule, in one form or another, is "Love your neighbor as yourself."

The second part of that law, "as yourself", is actually the most important part, as it is impossible to truly love someone else without knowing how to love oneself first.

To be spiritual is to be taken over by a mysterious, divine compulsion to manifest some aspect of life's deepest force. We become most who we are when we allow the spirit to dismember us, unsettling our plans and understandings, remaking us from our very foundations. Nothing is more challenging, nothing less sentimental, than the invitation of spirit to become who we are and not who we think we ought to be.

Thomas Moore

The "project" of self-love is immense and requires a level of compassion towards one’s own shadow that consumes all the inner ressources and energy supplies available. Like we say in French « Quand on aime, on ne compte pas ». This precept takes on all its meaning here. It is a "project" that demands all, allows for no compromises and pushes towards the abyss of our wounds, of our negativity, of our childhood and of our karma in order to transmute it all in the way only a master-alchemist can.

That kind of self-knowledge – as the oracle of Delphi "Know Thyself" reminds us – is the only true source of…knowledge, wisdom, balance, happiness and peace (shalom in Hebrew means "peace" and "wholeness"), and our only true contribution to the universe and our planet. The rest is distraction, entertainment and avoidance.

Therefore, it is necessary to educate, equip and prepare oneself in order to become the inner warrior that will take us to victory (an inner victory of course, not glory or success, a victory whose name is ascension, enlightenment, unity). It is also necessary to gather the right "arsenal", tools and tactics that will help us move along the path to conquer back again the inner territory that was once betrayed, forsaken, abandoned and which is longing for our care.

TO KNOW WHAT YOU PREFER
INSTEAD OF HUMBLY SAYING AMEN TO WHAT THE WORLD TELLS YOU YOU OUGHT TO PREFER,
IS TO HAVE KEPT YOUR SOUL ALIVE.

Robert Louis Stevenson

Here are some of the main tools that help navigate the inner seas, in the same manner Odysseus did on his way back to Ithaca (where Penelope was waiting for him):

Mastery of the sexual energies (this is where it all starts)

Breathing

Boundaries

Responsibility

Intelligence of the heart

Intimacy with the body

Authenticity

Transparency

Language

This journey is humbling, humiliating sometimes for, in the end, it is all about letting the higher self (the soul, the essence, the spirit of our being) govern our lives…at the expense of the ego…

UNTIL WE ACCEPT THE FACT THAT LIFE ITSELF IS FOUNDED IN MYSTERY, WE SHALL LEARN NOTHING.

Henry Miller

What triggers such a journey? An unyielding desire to know the truth. Relentlessly wanting to know the deep meaning of life. Events that happen in our everyday life that make us realize it is not under our control anymore. A new heightened sensitivity. Meeting the twin flame. A return to simplicity which, truth be told, is the hallmark of a master.

Inwardness and self-love are not glamorous and sexy topics that are typically covered by the mainstream media. It is a solitary, low-key, silent and sometimes frightening journey that leads to sovereignty, inner power, freedom and the universal. By the by: "universal" does not mean annihilating or demonizing the ego. The goal is to have it co-operate; it should be an ally. In a culture focused on the outside, the ego is a little tyrant. In a culture focused on the inside, the ego is a faithful servant.

The topic is vast, magnificent, fascinating, and sometimes orgasmic.

Let’s take our power back through the practice of love, which is a good mastery of our space which is a good mastery of our energy.

GO  CONFIDENTLY IN THE DIRECTION OF YOUR DREAMS!
LIVE THE LIFE YOU'VE IMAGINED.
AS YOU SIMPLIFY YOUR LIFE, THE LAWS OF THE UNIVERSE WILL BE SIMPLER.

Henry David Thoreau
